In the 18Th century prince Bishop the prince of the city of liege ( east of Belgium ) decide to make a big festival for the kings and the princes of the neighborhoods he ask his chef to do a new kind of pastries that nobody knows, they call it Gaufre. the guests test this patisserie and they liked it very much Since then the Gaufre become the first patisserie in the royal festivals and by the times the gaufre become well known for the rest of the peoples, it called Gaufre liege and it becomes one of the most selling patisserie in Europe. Our waffles, are recognized for their excellent taste and quality; we have an old Belgian recipe that is a secret blend of 100% natural ingredients. Therefore, they have a wonderful flavor of their own, unlike regular waffles that have no taste.
